About Me
Hello, and welcome. I’m Gillian, a compassionate and experienced counsellor dedicated to supporting people through life’s challenges. My approach blends professional expertise with a warm, holistic perspective, creating a safe space where you can feel heard, understood, and held.
I am a qualified Counsellor, a trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) Practitioner, and skilled in the NADA 5-Point Protocol. These tools allow me to tailor support to your individual needs, whether you are navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, stress, or personal growth.
My philosophy is simple: healing happens when we feel safe, seen, and supported — in both mind and body. I believe in working with the whole person, integrating emotional, physical, and nervous system approaches to help you restore balance, resilience, and a deeper sense of self.
I know that seeking support can feel like a big step, and it can be intimidating to open up to someone new. That’s why I offer a free 15-minute introductory call, so we can connect, explore your needs, and see how we might work together in a way that feels safe and supportive for you.
Outside of my practice, I find inspiration in nature, gentle mindfulness, and small acts of creativity — all of which shape the way I bring presence, calm, and care into my sessions. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, find a sense of grounding, and navigate life’s challenges with compassion and confidence.
If you’re ready to take a gentle step toward healing and self-discovery, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
